“Melissa is an incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented designer and I feel so lucky to have worked with her, and to work with her again in the future. She was pivotal in helping my husband and I remodel most of our 1938 French Norman home in Magnolia. We love the end product.
We wanted to keep much of the Art Deco style features original to the house, while also modernizing it and including hints of my love for traditional and French countryside designs. I sent her hundreds of various Pinterest images with all sorts of ideas and colors, none of which really matched! Melissa has such an eye for style and beautifully merging everything together, she carefully sorted through each picture and asked insightful questions to understand what I was truly looking for. She came to all meetings completely prepared and with several ideas to talk through. She was conscious of parts of the budget that needed to be tightened up and was extremely open and clear with her time spent. Melissa is very honest when I would ask her if certain things would go together, which I greatly appreciated because she always had her eye on a cohesive end result.
Through many of the design decisions made in a large home remodel, there is nothing I would change – which is quite surprising nearly two years after project completion!
